History

Bodmin has produced more top swimmers in Cornwall than any other club in recent history.

The combination of top quality coaching and the best training facilities in the county means that swimmers who want to reach their full potential, consistently choose Bodmin.

In recent years more of our swimmers have been medallists at the national championships than any other cornish club.

One of our swimmers, Cassie Patten (20) has represented the country at recent open water world Championships and only just missed selection for the 2008 Beijing olympics.

Laura Dearing (along with Cassie) dominated age group swimming in Cornwall throughout the past 6 years and won medals at national age group level too.

Hoping to emulate them is Rosie Anderson (14) who recently won the 1500 metres gold medal at the ASA SW regional championships.

In total, Bodmin swimmers hold about 45% of all Cornish Junior and Senior county records.

We are proud of this figure and hope that future swimmers will add to that total.
